Once you've established a successful connection, you are now prepared to collect an AEC (Automated Evidence Collection) report. You have two options for collecting the AEC report:
- AEC Reports Module: Access the AEC Reports module from the navigation menu and collect the reports directly from there.
- Compliance Engagement: Within your Compliance Engagement, you can initiate the collection of reports for your specific requests.
Both collection options are explained in detail below:
AEC Reports Module
The AEC Reports module allows you to directly collect and manage reports from any of the integrated connections. It's important to note that these reports are meant for your review only and are not visible to the consultant handling your engagement.
Collect Reports
- You have the flexibility to collect your reports using any of the three methods described below:
Download and Delete Reports
- You can choose to download or delete your reports either individually or all of them that were collected for the specific connection. This gives you control over managing your collected reports according to your preferences and needs.
Compliance Engagement
Granting Compliance Engagement Access
- Prior to collecting AEC reports for the requests within your engagement, you must first provision the engagement access, as demonstrated below:
Collecting AEC Reports for Template Requests
Once the engagement access has been provisioned, you have two options to start collecting reports. It's important to note that only A-LIGN template requests will automatically collect reports for the requests. These template requests can be identified with the nomenclature "R-1000" or "P-100" as opposed to "C-1000."
- You can collect reports for all requests within the engagement by selecting the Collect All icon in the heading of your engagement.
- Important to note: The Collection Period set for any ticketing reports will be determined by the review period entered by your assigned consultant on the Engagement Details page. Client users do not have access to this page.
- Within the request card of the engagement, you have the option to Collect reports for individual requests. If you have already collected a report for a specific request, this CTA will be replaced with a Refresh button so you can retrieve the most up-to-date report.
Collecting AEC Reports for Custom Requests
To attach your AEC reports to custom requests within your engagement, you will need to manually download them from the AEC Reports module, following the instructions provided at the beginning of this article. Once downloaded, you can proceed to upload the reports to your engagement, where you can associate them with the appropriate custom requests.
- Once you have downloaded the reports, we recommend uploading them to the Evidence page of your engagement and linking them to the relevant requests. If you need assistance with mapping these reports to the appropriate custom requests, the consultant assigned to your engagement can provide the necessary help and guidance.
