We are excited to announce a comprehensive redesign of the request card interface, focused on enhancing usability and providing more information at a glance. This update includes several key features aimed at improving the user experience.
1. Transition from Dialog to Slider Format Overview: The request card has been transformed from a dialog box to a slider. This change allows users to easily navigate between different requests without closing the current one, streamlining the workflow.
2. Use of Icons for Request Types Visual Clarity: Each request type is now represented by a unique icon. These icons are visible on both the request card preview and in the detailed view, making it easier to identify request types quickly.
3. Category Display as a Pill Enhanced Visibility: The category of each request is now displayed as a pill on the request card, providing a clear and concise categorization at a glance.
4. Inclusion of Created and Last Updated Dates Information Accessibility: The dates when the request was created and last updated are now prominently displayed at the bottom of the request card, keeping users informed of the request's timeline.
5. Expandable Request Card Feature Flexibility in Viewing: Users can now expand the request card for a more detailed view by dragging the request card slider out or in to expand or contract the size. To expand the request card to full screen, select the option that is located in the upper right corner of the request card.
6. Informative Banner on Request Card Status Visualization: A new banner has been added at the top of the request card. This banner visually represents the request status through color coding, and also displays the request type and class for immediate reference.
7. Request Card Location Navigation Enhanced Navigation: Users can now easily navigate to other related requests with assigned locations. For example, opening request R-1000 assigned to multiple locations allows users to navigate to other R-1000 requests associated with those locations, directly from the top of the request card.

New Aesthetic Design: Both the Request Kanban and Request table have been revamped to incorporate a cleaner text style, providing a more modern and streamlined look.
Color-Coded Status Swim Lanes: The status swim lanes on the Request Kanban have been updated with new color coding, making it easier to distinguish different statuses at a glance.
2. Collapsible Header with Search Bar and Filters
Flexible Interface: Users now have the ability to collapse and expand the header containing the search bar and filters. This feature provides more screen space for viewing requests and allows users to customize their view according to their preferences.
Enhanced Usability: This collapsible functionality makes it easier for users to focus on the request data, improving the overall usability of the platform.
Enhanced Evidence Management in Request Cards
We are excited to announce a significant enhancement to the evidence management feature within our request cards. This update brings a more streamlined and efficient approach to handling evidence files associated with various engagements.
1. Introduction of 'Previous Evidence Files' Tab
Overview: A new tab, 'Previous Evidence Files', has been added to the request card. This tab is designed to improve visibility and accessibility of historical evidence.
Functionality: Users can now easily view all evidence files attached to other engagements linked to the same request (e.g., R-1000). This is available irrespective of the user's assignment status to those previous engagements.
2. Replacement of 'Other Engagement Evidence'
The 'Previous Evidence Files' tab will replace the existing 'Other Engagement Evidence' section. This change is aimed at providing a more organized and user-friendly interface for accessing past evidence.
3. Evidence File Roll Forward Feature
Roll Forward Capability: Users can now seamlessly roll forward evidence from the previous evidence library to the current engagement's evidence folder.
Indicator for Rolled Forward Files: To enhance trackability, an indicator will be displayed on evidence files in both the current and previous evidence libraries. This indicator will signify that the file has been rolled forward, ensuring clarity and ease of organization.
Enhancements to Request Page Navigation and Functionality
In our ongoing efforts to improve user experience and streamline navigation, we are introducing significant enhancements to the request page. These updates are designed to simplify the interface and consolidate critical functionalities, ultimately making the workflow more efficient for our users.
Key Updates:
1. Future Elimination of Engagement Assignments Page
To simplify navigation, the Engagement Assignments page will be removed in a future release. All its essential functionalities have been integrated into the request page.
2. Multi-Select and Assignment Feature for External Users
Multi-Select Capability: External users can now select one or more requests in the table view on the request page.
User Assignment Functionality: After selection, users can assign either a single user or multiple users to the chosen requests. This feature enhances flexibility and control over request management.
3. Incorporation of Features from Engagement Assignments Page
Auto-Assign from Other Engagement Assignment: This functionality allows automatic assignment of users based on their engagements in other projects or tasks. It streamlines the process of allocating resources where they are most needed.
Swap Engagement Assignments: Users now have the ability to swap engagement assignments between different requests or users directly from the request page. This feature provides a flexible approach to managing changing priorities or resource availability.
Add Consultant and Account Manager Contact Information
We are excited to announce new features designed to streamline communication between users, consultants, and account managers. These updates will make it easier to connect and collaborate within our platform.
1. Consultant Contact Information
Feature Overview:
Easy Access to Consultant Email: Users can now quickly access a consultant's contact information directly from the request card.
Simple Steps to Connect:
Open a request card.
Select the services dropdown at the top of the card.
Choose the consultant's name.
Direct Email Draft: When the user selects the option, their default email application will automatically launch, creating a new email draft addressed to the consultant's email. Please be aware that if you haven't set a default email application on your device, this feature will not function.
2. Account Manager Contact Information
Feature Overview:
Instant Contact with Account Managers: Users can now easily reach out to account managers via email.
Effortless Connectivity:
Select the account manager email icon located at the top of the page, next to the client dropdown selector.
Seamless Email Integration: Clicking the icon opens the user's default email browser, creating a new email draft addressed to the account manager.
