Overview:
Enhanced Commenting Flexibility: In this release, the A-SCEND team has prioritized enhancing the flexibility of a crucial task: Commenting. Clear communication is paramount for a successful audit, and even minor errors can lead to costly misunderstandings. This update addresses these concerns, providing users with greater control and confidence in their comments.
Comment Feature Enhancements
- Edit/Delete Comments: Users can now edit or delete comments they have created, giving them more control over their contributions.
- Mention Feature: We've replaced comment replies with a new 'mention' feature. When selecting 'Mention', a new comment window will open with the user already tagged, facilitating direct communication.
- No More Comment Indentation: Comments will no longer be indented under the comment replied to, providing a cleaner and more organized layout.
- Chronological Comment Display: Comments will now be displayed in chronological order by default, with the newest comments at the top and the oldest at the bottom. Users can also customize their preferred sorting order, choosing between displaying the newest or oldest comments at the top.
Menu Navigation Change
In order to make navigation easier and avoid confusion, we have changed the name of the Document Library to simply Files.
