Overview:

A-SCEND File Upload Enhancements: In this release, the A-SCEND team has improved the user experience when uploading files to A-SCEND. The changes give the user more options when selecting types of files to upload and a smoother user experience.  

A-SCEND File Upload Enhancements:

• Asycronys file uploading: While files are being uploaded, users can continue to work and navigate in A-SCEND. Users are alerted when the upload is complete via the Upload Drawer.
• 7-Zip (.7z) file type now allowed: Users can now upload 7-Zip archive files.
• Markdown file format now allowed: Users can not upload files in the Markdown file format.
• Improved Upload UI/UX: Users will now see the progress of the upload along with clear error instructions or success indicators while uploading files.
• Persistent Uploads log: A persistent uploads log will now be available.  Users can Collapse or Expand the ‘Drawer’ by clicking on the Drawer Icon on the top right-hand corner.
• Clear Error message: If an upload fails, the reason for the failure is clearly reported in the log.
  •  Most recently uploaded evidence is listed at the top of the evidence tab (not the bottom).

These changes were designed based on auditor feedback, to save you time and improve efficiency!
