Overview:
This month, A-LIGN responded to user feedback and updated the user interface based on your feedback. First, we reverted a recent change that moved certain UI elements into a sub-menu. This turned out to be inconvenient for users, and so those elements have been moved back to the main tab menu. Additionally, we have taken steps to enhance the user's understanding of the audit request and provide better context for what the auditor is asking for. A-SCEND now clearly displays the relevant controls on the request card. Users can now more efficiently gather and present the necessary evidence, ensuring compliance and reducing the risk of miscommunication or incomplete submissions.
In addition to the features referenced above, several stability and general quality of life improvements were made.
Request Card redesign
All actions and information regarding evidence files are now displayed on the Evidence tab without the need to drill down into a sub-menu.
Request Card controls display
This new feature will provide users with a clear and organized view of the specific controls that are being audited, along with detailed descriptions and requirements. This will enhance the user's understanding of the audit request by providing better context into what the auditor is asking for.
